As a member of Chicago based nonprofit, Urban Initiatives' Associate Board, I’m raising money for its Bus Campaign. Urban Initiatives focuses on youth development for underserved communities and empowers its student players through the inherent power of support. The Bus Campaign supports game day bus rides for Urban Initiatives’ student players.
Your donation will directly impact the students of Urban Initiatives. By providing even as little as $15, you will help to provide sports and play programming that has proven to enforce the following fundamentals:
- Building social-emotional skills like respect, empathy, and stress management
- Achieving academic success
- Building social capital
Why I'm passionate about supporting UI: I wouldn't be where I am today without the mentors and positive athletic outlets I've been fortunate to have and believe every child deserves to experience the powerful impact of healthy activities, supportive adults, and strong communities. Being a part of UI allows me to actively give back to Chicago while building relationships (and having fun) with people who are equally passionate about helping all children thrive.
