The annual social celebrates those who have participated in the Capital Striders community, as well as enjoy some socializing with your fellow runners.
We invite you to join us to celebrate our club's successes. We will recap the year with some great stories and food, review upcoming board member elections, and hear from an inspiring speaker.

Join us for the Capital Striders Annual Social, an evening of community, connection, and inspiration with runners and walkers of all abilities.
We’re excited to welcome Blake Boldon as our guest speaker. Blake is a nationally recognized runner, coach, and storyteller known for his engaging, motivational approach and passion for helping runners find joy, longevity, and purpose in the sport.

His talks blend motivation, real-life experience, and a deep love for the running community.
Blake combines his Midwestern charm with extensive experience to deliver something sure to inspire you while reminding you why you love running in central Iowa, no matter where your miles may take you this year!
