Hello, I am a therapist for Centro Sanar, an organization dedicated to healing and empowering communities through accessible mental health care. I grew up in Back of the Yards and South Chicago, two communities that have felt the deep and lasting impact of gun violence, so this is personal. I’ve seen firsthand how it affects families, friends, and entire neighborhoods. I’ve lost people to it, and I run in their honor. I'm running to raise money for our critical work in community mental health and to continue advocating for change.
