Bling for Bravery is a program developed through the Snowdrop Foundation to celebrate and reward the bravery of the pediatric cancer patients at Texas Children’s Cancer Hospital in Houston, TX. The mission is to distribute finisher’s medals from races from 5K, 10K, Half Marathons through Ultra Marathons including Triathlons to the children at the hospital to recognize and celebrate their bravery in dealing with cancer. The common thread of dedication and bravery of training for long distance races and triathlons is mirrored by the patients at the hospital.
All WRATH Racing events are drop-off points for Bling for Bravery! If you would like to donate a medal, please bring them to one of our events, and give them to one of the Race Directors (Kay or John) or the timer.
Blimng For Bravery also requests that you complete the form at http://snowdropfoundation.org/get-involved/bling-for-bravery/?fbclid=IwAR0vbSx7m2e5m0AbBTDGYfbU0viYTggSnLMzsMgyk0qiurtYjvcmRF9Y8Iw . This will provide us with some information on the race that the medal is from and the donor that can be shared with the recipient. (We also have a limited number of forms at each race when you drop off your medals.)
