The 10K is SUNDAY only

Packet Pickup: Fri 3-5, Saturday 3-5 & Sunday 6:30am-8:00am
Pre-race meeting: Sunday 7:55am
Race start: Sunday 8:00am
Race end: The course officially closes at 5PM. However, if you think it will take you longer than 3.5 hours to do your 10K, please tell the race director or timer at the start/finish, or tell the volunteer at the Far Aid aid station. This is so we don't mark you as 'missing' and launch a manhunt :)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Overview:
:
- The course is a loop that roughly follows the shores of Marine Creek Lake, except for the 1/2-mile Far-Aid out and back at the northern tip.
- Most of it is through thick woods, but the open areas may be windy.
Surface:
- The start/finish is chunky gravel, and the path over the dam is crushed gravel.
- Most of the course is well-maintained concrete, which may be slippery when wet.
- The course averages 8 feet wide with wide shoulders
Elevation:
- Most of the course is flat.
- There is one significant hill; the start/finish is at the top of this hill.
- There are a few bridges, none of them are steep.
Signage:
- The course is marked with signs, chalk & cones.
- There are no mile markers, but Halfway Bridge will have mileage sign
Other:
- 10K runners will do 1 Counter-clockwise loop
- 10K runners will do the Far-Aid out-n-back but will turn around at the '10K Turnaround' sign
- The 10K course has 2 fully-stocked Aid Stations & 3 water-only stops
- The 10K course is an accurately measured distance but is not certified
