Registration FAQs
Can I register for multiple events?

Yes!  New this year, participants can register for multiple events.  Interested in logging your cycling and your cross-training?  Be sure to register for the Cycling and Let's Move virtual challenges!  Doing a 5K training program?  Log your training in the Run/Walk virtual Challenge and cap it off by participating in the 5K & Family Fun Day!  We encourage participants to sign up for any and all of the virtual Challenges and then join us for the 5K & Family Fun Day as a culminating event.

 
What is a Race Team?  How is it different than the Fundraising Team?

Just like our Fundraising Teams allow participants to fundraise individually and track the collective total of the team, the Race Teams allow our participants to log their activities individually and track the team's collective total distance and time.  You'll be able to see the Team Results all in one place at any time, without having to wait for the Participant Newsletter.

You'll be prompted during registration to create or join a Race Team and create or join a Fundraising Team--sign up for BOTH to get the most out of the Challenge.  During registration, Captains can click "Create a Race Team" and choose the name of your team (for returning teams, use the usual name of your team).  If you are registering multiple people at one time, Create a Race Team with your first registrant.  For each following registrant, be sure to choose the same team as the first registrant - Check out our video on registering multiple people on Race Teams.  Race Teams will work across events, so your Run/Walk/Hike, Cycling, and Let's Move team members should all join the same team!  Creating a Race Team will automatically create your Fundraising Team too!

If your Team Captain has already created your Race Team and Fundraising Team, you can search and join your team during registration.

 

How do I register to participate?

Registration opens in January of 2022 and continues through May 1, 2022 for the Challenges.  5K registration opens in January of 2022 and continues through race morning.  Click the "Sign Up" button at the top of the page to join.

 

How do I create or join a Fundraising Team?

During registration, you have the option to create a Fundraising Team, or search Teams to join.  If you create a Race Team, it will create the Fundraising Team for you!  If you missed joining a Fundraising Team during registration, please email development@ascv.org for assistance.

 

What are the 2022 race fees?

Race registration starts at the early-bird rate of $25, rising to $30 on March 1 and then $35 on April 1.  Day-of 5K registration will be $40.  New this year:  register for multiple events at one cost!  Click here to see the price breakdown by dates and ages. Once you get to the page make sure you click on "Show Registration Details."

 

I would like to purchase additional T-Shirts, a Celebration Sign, or shipping for my shirt, but I have already registered.

You can purchase "Mail My T-Shirt to Me," Celebration Signs, or additional T-Shirts as add-ons through your RunSignUp account. Please follow the steps below, and email development@ascv.org if you have any issues.

  1. Sign In to RunSignUp.
  2. Go to your Profile.
  3. View your events under "Upcoming Events."
  4. Click "Manage Registration" next to the registration that you are editing.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Add-On" menu item in the bottom left of the page.
  6. Edit the quantity of the add-on that you would like.
  7. Click "Continue."
