100 Mile Course Details
The Blackbeard’s Revenge 100 mile race course will take you from Corolla, NC on the Outer Banks all the way to the roads end at The Wreck Tiki Bar in Hatteras. The course is an easy to navigate race with very few turns, miles marked every 5 miles, 18 well-stocked aid stations, confidence markers throughout, easy to access bathrooms and amazing views. This is not a race that will beat you up with extremely elevation change as there are only a few hills on the entire course, and those are the bridges. The LACK of hills and never ending road spread out in front will play mind games, and the potential for gusty sandy winds will be your main competitors. Athletes will share the road will vehicles, but there are options along a lot of the course for paths in lieu of running on the white line. This is a must do event, and a beautiful experience.
