100K Course Details
The Blackbeard’s Revenge 100 Kilometer event will start at Jennette's Pier in Nags Head and head South to the Wreck Tiki Bar in Hatteras! Runners will run along the sand strewn road with ocean on the left and sound on the right. This is a flat course with the only hills being a few bridges early on in the race. But that lack of elevation change brings its own issues. The lack of hills means athletes can see miles in front of them, and they will have to contend with sandy wind, and whatever the outer banks weather brings us! The course has very few turns and is well marked. Mile markers will be placed every 5 miles, as well as confidence markers throughout. Aid stations are extremely well stocked and spread out throughout the race. This 100 Kilometer course has an extremely generous cutoff time making the course manageable for first timers!
