AID STATIONS & WATERSTOPS
** 5K Aid Stations **
There is a water-only stop at the 5K turn-around and a fully-stocked aid station at the start/finish:
Main Aid Station (aka Start/Finish)
- Bottled water, sports drinks, soda, Hot coffee if it's cold
- Bananas, oranges, pickles, pickle juice, granola bars, fruit snacks, candy, cookies, chips, PB&J etc
- ADA portolet & regular portolet with handwashing station
School District Offices (aka the 5K turn-around)
- Cooler of bottled water.
- Staffed by volunteers
** 10K, Half, 3Quarter, Full & Ultra Aid Stations **
There will be 2 fully-stocked Aid Stations and 3 water-only stops on the full-loop course. They are listed clockwise from the start/finish:
Main Aid Station (aka Start/Finish)
- Bottled water, sports drinks, soda, Hot coffee if it's cold
- Bananas, oranges, pickles, pickle juice, granola bars, fruit snacks, candy, cookies, chips, PB&J etc
- ADA portolet & regular portolet with handwashing station
Metroplex Ski Club Dock
- Bottled water
- Unstaffed
- Portolet with hand-sanitizing station
Marine Creek Lake Park (aka the old boat ramp)
- Bottled water
- Unstaffed
- ADA portolet with hand-sanitizing station
Far Aid (aka the Out-N-Back)
- Staffed Aid Station.
- Most of the same items as Main Aid but less variety due to logistics: Sweet, salty, crunchy; water, soda, sports drinks, etc
- Primitive toilet facilities with hand-sanitizing station
School District Offices (aka the 5K turn-around)
- Unstaffed except during 5K
- Bottled water only
** PERSONAL AID STATIONS **
- Participants can leave coolers chairs, and small tables in the start/finish area.
- Tents, EZ-Ups, canopies and shade structures are not allowed. Nothing can be staked into the ground.
- These should be out of the way of the course traffic; race will move them if they are in the way.
- These should be clearly marked with your name. Race is not responsible if someone else uses your personal aid station
** SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS **
- Participants with special dietary needs should bring their own Aid. Volunteers are not responsible for knowing what is in race-provided aid.
- The race does not have refrigeration facilities. Participants requiring insulin can ask race personne to put their cooler in the shade of a race tent.
