How does this work?

DoubleDogs are a discounted price.

When you register for a Half Marathon, select the number of DoubleDogs that you want to run. You cannot select more DoubleDogs than the number of days you are running.

You will get a bib for each day, plus a different bib for each DoubleDog

You can only use the DoubleDog on a day when you are also running a normal-price Half Marathon.

On the day you use your DoubleDog, you may start your first race with the Marathoners (ie 1 hour earlier than the Half Marathoners.

When you are done with your first Half Marathon, and ready to start your next one, take your DoubleDog bib to the Timing tent and tell them you are starting.

You may rest between your two Half Marathons, but don't rest too long - you must start your 4th/final lap by 5PM!
What do I get for my money? For each day that you use a DoubleDog, you'll get:

2 Bibs

2 official times, reported in the results

A medal for each event you complete.

Plus the usual swag from the full-price Half Marathons you're registered for!
What if I am running two days or three days and want to DoubleDog on more than 1 day?

You can! You can buy up to 3 DoubleDogs.

You can only use 1 DoubleDog per day.

There are no refunds if you decide not to use one.
I'm already registered for a Half Marathon. How do I add the DoubleDog?
The DoubleDog is set up as an Add On. You can go into your RunSignUp profile and add it to your registration.

I'm registered for a 10K, can I add the DoubleDog?
No. The DoubleDog is only for Half Marathoners.
I'm registered for the Marathon. Can I add the DoubleDog?
No. The DoubleDog is only for Half Marathoners.
I bought a DoubleDog, but I'm not going to use it. Can I get a refund? Can I give it to a friend?
There are no refunds, but you can transfer it to a friend without a transfer fee:

Your friend need to be registered for a Half Marathon. They can only use the DoubleDog bib on the day they run their Half.

Email the race director to get the DoubleDog switched OR you and your friend can go to the Solutions Tent to get it switched. The Timing tent cannot take care of this.
