50 Mile Relay Rules
50 Mile Relay Rules and Relay Team Guide:
1. The 50 Mile Relay can be run with 2, 3, or 4 people. Each member of the relay is required to register. The first team member to register will be prompted to create a new relay team during registration. After the team is created, each additional relay member can select the team name from a drop down menu during registration.
2. Athletes can run it in any order and run as many or as few legs as they want as long as each member of the team runs at least one.
3. Relay teams may exchange at any aid station however relay runners must check in and out of every aid station— just like individual runners.
4. This is the MOST important rule: Team members MUST high five each other and yell "choo-choo" for a legal relay exchange to occur!
