Reasonable Accommodations

We welcome all abilities to join us on race day. Requests for reasonable accommodations must be submitted at least four weeks prior to Huffing For Stuffing by selecting the ADA accommodations option during registration/sign up or by filling out our contact form.

Participants:
For handcycle and wheelchair entrants, it is the participant's responsibility to provide a manually operated wheelchair or handcycle that is fully functional and properly maintained. Handcycles and racing wheelchairs are expected to abide by the equipment rules and guidelines of the International Paralympic Committee. It is strongly recommended that all handcycle and wheelchair participants wear a helmet. Due to the course being open to traffic, a flag (at least 5’ off the ground) and/or flashing light(s) on each wheelchair or handcycle is recommended. A portion of the course is a trail system with some potentially sharp and icy corners. Participants are strongly encouraged to participate with someone willing to help maneuver the course should assistance be required.

Volunteers:
For handcycle and wheelchair entrants, it is the volunteer's responsibility to provide a manually operated wheelchair or handcycle that is fully functional and properly maintained. For course volunteers, a flag (at least 5' off the ground) and/or flashing light(s) on each wheelchair or handcycle is recommended due to the course being open to traffic.
