Get ready to lace up your shoes and let the good times roll as the New Orleans Marathon returns to the streets of the Big Easy after a five year hiatus. We're thrilled to invite you to the inaugural New Orleans Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K and Marathon Relay—your chance to conquer your next running challenge in the most vibrant city in America.
From the start at the New Orleans Museum of Art to the finish line in Roosevelt Mall, every step tells a story of resilience, pride, and endless possibility. Once your race is completed, our fun doesn't stop at the finish line! Your victory celebration begins at the New Orleans Marathon Official Post Race Party on the floor of Tad Gormley Stadium. Stay and party with friends and family to some of the best music and food on the planet.
When our party ends, the after party begins in the New Orleans French Quarter, where time has stood still for over 300 years in our pot of Gumbo called "The Big Easy"!

Imagine a course that starts at the New Orleans Museum of Art in the heart of City Park. As you leave the park your passing Bayou St. John on your way to the New Orleans Lakefront, which sits on the banks of Lake Pontchartrain on the northern edge of the city. Along the New Orleans Lakefront heading east then west, you have the opportunity to settle into your pace surrounded by beautiful homes and fantastic waterfront scenery. Every mile will be a celebration as you're energized by the sounds of Live Music, Cheer Zones and Street Performers lifting you up no matter the distance of your event. This isn't just a race; it's a running party thats welcoming everyone back to the Finish Line in Roosevelt Mall, which officially becomes, "Mardi Gras Mall" for this one day of personal celebration!
Our shirts will be offered in both men's and women's sizing and our finisher medals will be a forever keepsake of a wonderful running weekend from the Big Easy!
