NOLA Marathon Race Course
The Strava Map above shows the double loop Marathon Course. The U-Turn on the eastern edge of Lakeshore Drive on this second loop has a slightly different course U-Turn location than the first lap of this two lap USAT Certified Course. Once the certification is completed, the certification number will be posted to this site.
Marathon Turn by Turn Course Instructions
Marathon Runners will start on the right and left side of the New Orleans Museum of Art.
Left Turn onto Wisner Blvd.
Right Turn onto Allen Toussaint Blvd.
Left Turn onto St. Bernard Avenue running against the normal flow of traffic
Right Turn onto Killdeer Street
Left Turn onto St. Bernard Avenue running in the normal flow of traffic
Right Turn onto Oriole Street
Right Turn onto Lakeshore Drive
U-Turn to the Left on the far eastern edge of Lakeshore Drive hear Shelter #4 (Course Marshall will be at that location)
Right Turn onto St. Bernard Avenue just to the right of the Bayou St. John Bridge
Runners will run under the Bayou St. John Bridge heading south towards Allen Toussaint Blvd.
Right Turn onto Allen Toussaint Blvd.
Left Turn onto Wisner Blvd. heading south
Right Turn onto Harrison Ave.
Left Turn onto Diagonal Drive
Left turn onto Magnolia Drive
Left turn onto Zachary Taylor Drive
Right Turn onto Henry Thomas Drive
Right Turn onto Palm Drive
Left turn with traffic around Beau Bassich Circle
Right Turn onto Roosevelt Mall running against the normal flow of traffic
