2026 Summer Education Series

Every runner deserves a team behind them. Experts who can help fill in the gaps around their training plan to help them avoid injury, recover & fuel well, and feel their best. This is the heart of our Summer Education Series.

We’re bringing together local experts who work every day with active people just like you: a registered dietitian, a nurse practitioner specializing in hormone and peptide therapy, a physical therapist, and a certified strength and conditioning coach.

Whether you’re training for your first 5k, working on adding volume, or chasing a competitive goal, these sessions are designed to help you understand your body, make smarter choices, and build a support network that keeps you healthy and progressing. If you care about running well, running strong, and running for years to come, this is your chance to learn from the people who can help you do exactly that.

Spend some time with us this summer - your running, your health, and your future self deserves it.

Each session is limited to 45 participants, and there is a small fee to reserve your space. The sessions are open to club members and to the greater Lakeland running community.

Hormones, Peptides, and Your Running: Understanding the Science Behind Feeling Your Best
In this session, Danielle will break down how hormones and peptides work to support overall health, energy, recovery, and performance. She’ll cover what’s now available and walk through how these therapies can be used safely and effectively for both men and women.

About Danielle:
Danielle Nasello, APRN, FNP-BC, is known for listening deeply, offering personalized solutions, and helping patients feel genuinely cared for. She uses her training and lived experience to guide others through hormone and peptide therapy with clarity, compassion, and a practical, whole‑person approach to wellness. She
came to hormone and peptide therapy the same way many runners come to big breakthroughs — through frustration, persistence, and finally finding the right answers. After breaking her foot training for a half marathon in 2016, she spent months not healing and feeling exhausted, despite doing everything “right.” Hormone testing revealed a deeper issue, she began a journey that changed her health, her energy, and her career.

Muscle Imbalances and Injury Prevention
In this session, Tyler will explain how assessments that measure muscle strength, power, asymmetry, and balance can help runners stay ahead of injuries rather than simply react to them. He’ll show how targeted physical therapy strategies can support healthier training, smoother progression, and more resilient running — even when you’re not recovering from an injury.

About Tyler:
Tyler Love, PT, DPT, OCS, MBA, is a board‑certified orthopedic physical therapist with more than a decade of clinical, academic, and entrepreneurial experience. He serves as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Education at Florida Southern College’s School of Physical Therapy and is the owner of Swan City Physical Therapy. Tyler’s work focuses on helping athletes understand how their bodies move, where imbalances may be hiding, and how proactive strength and mobility work can keep runners healthy, confident, and moving forward.
