This event is held by the Lakeland Runners Club, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to promote running and fitness for people of all ages and abilities in the community.

🦜 Volunteer for Gasparilla Race Weekend - Support LRC & Your Friends! 

Join the Lakeland Runners Club as we come together to support Tampa’s biggest running event — the Gasparilla Distance Classic on February 21–22, 2026!  By volunteering, you’ll help create an unforgettable experience for thousands of runners, while also making a meaningful impact for the LRC. Gasparilla will make a donation to the club in appreciation of our team’s support.

Let’s bring our energy, teamwork, and signature LRC spirit to Tampa and show what makes our club 🦢💙💛🧡 truly fabulous.

You can volunteer with us on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 5:00 a.m., or Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 5:00 a.m.

In January, we will be notified of where our volunteer station for Saturday, the 21st, will be.  We have been notified that on Sunday, the 22nd, (during the half-marathon),  we will be at the Davis Island Aid Station.
