Children (10 and under) associated with any participating runners (or volunteers) at the race can participate in an untimed 0.9ish mile fun run around the full loop of Belmont Plateau.
While participants in the fun run will not score for the team, the intention is to get kids involved in the fun of running and show them how much fun running can be when surrounded by a supportive team.
The associated adult does not have to be a parent (Aunts, grandparents, family friends are fine), but a guardian must register the child and sign the waiver for them. Kids will full names are not be visible on registration lists. Kids are encouraged to run on the own (the course will be marked with cones, and volunteers around the plateau), but an adult may accompany their kids if needed.
