Philadelphia Races: Status Updates

With the Coronavirus impacting races across our region, we want to help the community sort out what is happening, and when. A few caveats about this resource:
- This is a dynamic situation, and the calendar is somewhat static. We are updating it as often as we can (last date of update is at the top), but use the linked race name to check websites for the most current status.
- Race information can be located in a variety of places. If you have information that is new or different from what we found, please email us at phillymayorscup@gmail.com
- We have no affiliation with these races. If you have questions about their process moving forward, please look on their linked website for contact information to reach the race directly.
- We will expand into later dates as the situation progresses
- Races listed are those that show as within 50 miles of Philadelphia
Definitions:
Current race statuses include:
- Proceeding: The physical race is proceeding as originally planned
- Converted to Virtual: The physical race has been converted to a virtual race. The specifics of virtual races can vary (contact the event for details about their race), but generally allow for participants to run a pre-determined distance at any location, often over a range of days. Virtual races often include results, swag, and social media groups for encouragement and the sharing of accomplishment. While it's not the same as a physical race, a virtual race can allow you to participate in an event with a friend or family member that you're currently separated from.
- Postponed: The race is being moved to a new date, either with or without a confirmed new date
- Cancelled: The race will not occur in 2020.
- Uncertain: The race has acknowledged that the situation is likely to impact their race, but has not yet made a determination about moving forward.
- No Updates: The race has not indicated if/how they will change their event
