Meet Jerijah!
"Hi! My name is Jerijah, and I am living with one kidney, a super kidney! My journey began before I was born. During my mom’s ultrasound, they noticed something abnormal. I wasn’t breathing right, and I had one kidney.
I spent 5 days in the NICU due to a number of complications. My mom and dad were told I would have medical issues. That didn’t stop my mom and dad from having me. Abortion was an option, but my mom and dad chose to give me life. They knew what they were getting into.
I was diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and one kidney. I also had breathing and feeding issues. My parents worked tirelessly and hard to keep me healthy and off the NG tube and G-tube, working alongside doctors and therapists.
