Our mom (/wife/sister/nana/aunt/friend/superhero/everything), Donna Owens, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in June 2021 and fought hard for 13 months until she passed in July 2022. She was able to participate in the inaugural Elm Street Run in May of 2022 just two months before her passing, and helped to raise thousands of dollars for such an important cause. She had the brightest smile and was the epitome of all that is good and kind in this world. Mom was an avid walker before brain cancer took away her ability to walk, so I plan to participate in the Elm Street Run each year in her honor and memory. I hope you will join her "beautiful village of family and friends” in helping to make a difference in the lives of others. No one fights alone!
