Jessica's Story

Jessica Middleton is a 2016 Anaplastic Astrocytoma Glioma Brain Cancer Survivor. At age 25, Jessica was diagnosed with a grade 3 tumor the size of her fist. Just shy of a year after losing her mother to Multiple Myeloma, Jessica was exposed to life at the Cancer Center while taking her mom to treatments.  Jessica received 6 weeks of radiation and a year’s worth of chemo. Once completed, she had a regiment of MRI’s for a 5 year period. Now, almost 9 years later Jessica is cancer free and enjoys telling her story to those around her and offers HOPE every chance she gets. Jessica spends her time working for her family business in the triad and spends time with her family and friends soaking up all life's blessings. Because cancer is unpredictable and doesn't discriminate who it affects, she strives to encourage those young and old to keep a positive outlook given each circumstance. Please help support this fundraiser in honor of her and her Brain Cancer peers.
