FAQ's
There is a time limit of 4 hours to complete the event. After 4 hours, officially timing will be suspended. All participants will, most likely, be on the Fox River Trail so traffic is not a concern, but water and medical aid stations will be closed.
There is no race day registration. Online registration closes at 6 pm on Friday of race weekend, and there is also onsite registration on Friday at the KI Convention Center between 2 & 6 pm.
Yes. Please just be sure they are aware you are picking it up to avoid confusion.
All participants receive a custom race shirt and all those who finish the event will receive a medal after they cross the finish line.
No dogs are allowed on the course except service animals.
Strollers are welcome for walkers. Due to our USATF insurance, you are not allowed to run with a stroller due to safety concerns. Anyone observed running with a stroller will be disqualified from the event.

6:30 – 7:30 am - RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP will be held in Meeting Room 4 at the KI Convention Center/Hyatt (near Elm St entrance) Parking will be available near the facility. (More information on the Parking & Gear Check page.) NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!
Start line is on Elm Street, just north of the KI Convention Center. Both the half marathon & 5K finish on the CityDeck, just north of Walnut Street.
Parking will be available at the Main Street Parking Ramp (300 Main St.)
and Pine Street Parking Ramp* (355 N. Madison St.).
ARRIVING FROM THE EAST: Park in the Pine Street ramp, entering via
N. Monroe and Pine streets.
ARRIVING FROM THE WEST: Park in the Main Street ramp via Main
Street or the Pine Street ramp.
There is gear check for Half Marathon & Relay participants. Drop off is just west of the start line and pick up is on the north end of the CityDeck (past Hagemeister). There is no gear check for the 5K because we would not be able to transport the gear from the start to the finish line in a timely manner for our 5K finishers.
A tag with your bib number is included on the bottom of your race bib and should be zip tied to your gear check bag.
