Ahoy, mateys! September 19 be International Talk Like a Pirate Day—our favorite holiday of the year!
Are ye celebrating our scurvy namesake, Blackbeard, on this most solemn (er, silly) day o’ days? Don’t forget to leave a shot o’ rum out for him before ye bunk down tonight.
To mark the occasion:
⚓ If ye’ve raced with us before—share yer favorite Blackbeard’s photos!
⚓ If ye’re joining us for the first time—share a training pic or show off yer finest tricorn hat.
⚓ Make sure ye follow Blackbeard's Revenge on Facebook or Instagram. Then tag yer favorite three scalawags in the comments (to run, to drink, to plunder—yer choice).
We’ll pick three winners to receive loot (prizes listed below) from Blackbeard's and our finish line celebration location, The Wreck Tiki Bar. Contest runs Thursday, Sept. 18 at 10 am through Saturday, Sept. 20 at 11:59 PM EST.
Choose from either (a complementary pre race 100 Mile or 100K shuttle ticket, BBR travel mug, BBR buff, or BBR flag) and either (a complementary second post-race drink at The Wreck or a complementary appetizer at The Wreck).
