Walk for Weims: A Nationwide Community Event Supporting Weimaraner Rescue, Education, and Advocacy

Join rescues, breed clubs, and Weim lovers across the United States for a virtual walk celebrating National Weimaraner Day while raising awareness and life-saving funds.

Walk for Weims is a nationwide, grassroots fundraising dog walk supporting Weimaraner rescue, education, and community outreach across the United States.

This unique virtual national Weimaraner awareness and fundraising event brings together rescue organizations, breed clubs, volunteers, and Weim lovers to raise awareness, share breed education, and generate critical funds to help Weimaraners in need.

Walk for Weims is designed to be flexible and community driven. Participants can walk anywhere, Their neighborhood, favorite trail, local park, or hometown streets. Across the country, rescues, Weimaraner clubs, and supporters often organize local group walks and meetups, creating mini events that bring the Walk for Weims experience to life in their communities.

Some walks are large gatherings. Others are small pack strolls. Some participants walk solo. Every step helps promote responsible breed awareness, support rescue efforts, and celebrate the incredible spirit of the Weimaraner.

Participants are encouraged to share their walk day photos and stories to help inspire others and grow support for Weimaraner rescue and education nationwide.

Walk for Weims takes place April 12th, in celebration of National Weimaraner Day.

This is more than a walk. It is a nationwide celebration of the dogs who steal our hearts and the community working together to protect their future.
