Founder Bio

Michelle Linton

Founder, Walk for Weims

Michelle Linton is the founder of Walk for Weims, a nationwide initiative that brings the Weimaraner community together to raise awareness and funds for rescue.

A lifelong Weimaraner lover, Michelle grew up with the breed and has spent more than a decade volunteering with Weimaraner rescue through fostering, fundraising, home visits, veterinary coordination, and other support. She brings more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership, marketing, and business development experience to Walk for Weims, with a particular focus on helping mission-driven organizations expand their reach and impact.

As a foster, adopter, and longtime Weimaraner owner, Michelle created Walk for Weims to help rescue organizations reach new supporters, strengthen community connections, and ensure more Weimaraners have somewhere to turn when they need help.

She shares her home with Lola, a rescued Weimaraner and daily reminder of why the mission matters.
