Tell us about yourself and your family life:

Beyond the badge, I am fortunate to share my life with my beloved wife of 15 years, Tracey Green, and our three remarkable children: Connor, Brigid, and Katie Mae. Family is the cornerstone of my life, providing constant support and inspiration. We live in Yonkers, NY and we are fortunate to be a part of a large and vibrant Irish community where we keep the traditions alive through our faith, music, sport, and dance.

Tell us about your professional life:

Throughout my 21 year career, I've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the finest detectives in the world. My journey with the NYPD began in 2003, serving with the NYPD Housing Bureau PSA 6 and The Bronx Gang Squad. Currently, I am assigned to the Gun Violence Suppression Division Zone 2, covering the Bronx and Manhattan. I was promoted to Detective in September of 2015, and later achieved the rank of Detective 2nd Grade in November of 2023.

What is your connection to Project Children?

In 2018, I had the honor of inviting Denis Mulcahy to be our Heritage Award recipient at our annual dinner dance. It was a profound moment to recognize Denis' decades of tireless work alongside Project Children, spanning over 40 years.

Tell us what it means to be a PC ambassador for the PC Picnic and 5k and the Move to Monaghan:

I am humbled by the opportunity to serve as an ambassador for Project Children, an organization close to my heart. Their dedication to fostering positive change and unity within our communities resonates deeply with me. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with the passionate men and women of Project Children, as we continue to make a difference together.
