Tell us about yourself and your family life:
I married my wife Roseann, also a Brooklyn native , in 1993. We have 5 children: Aidan, Daniel, Vincent, Natalie, and Colin and reside in Warwick, NY., where I continue to be active in the Irish community, supporting charity events in NYC and locally. I am a founding member of the Warwick AOH, Orange County Division 3 The McGuinness-McDonald Division and serves as a Board of Trustees member for my high school Alma Mater -- La Salle Academy.
Tell us about your professional life:
As a cardiologist, I am a partner at Crystal Run Healthcare having joined the group in 2005 and continue to see patients in the Middletown and Warwick offices and in all three hospitals in Orange County, NY. I am board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Coronary CT Angiography.
What is your connection to Project Children?
I have attended screenings of Project Children in NY and in County Monaghan, and I consider Denis Mulcahy a good friend.
Do you have a favorite PC memory?
After attending a screening of Project Children, I brought a bodhrán from Ballymena, Co. Antrim commissioned by the NYPD for Denis Mulcahy.
Tell us what it means to be a PC ambassador for the PC Picnic and 5k and the Move to Monaghan:
I am grateful to be chosen as an ambassador for Project Children. An amazing group of people with fifty years of service, having brought over 23,000 children to the United States as a summer reprieve from their war-torn homeland, and continues in the Mulcahy scholarship and internship programs.
