Eurekan/Half Eurekan
Events will be on each day - Fri/Triathlon, Sat/Bike Ride, Sun/Runs
DISTANCES:
- The Eurekan: Triathlon (300 yd swim, 6 mile bike, 2 mile run), 102 mile bike ride, 10K run with a field limit of 125 participants.
- Half Eurekan: Triathlon (same as above), 64 mile bike ride, 5K run with a field limit of 100 participants.
To be eligible for The Eurekan or Half Eurekan, the competitor must register in the Eurekan or Half Eurekan category
To become either The Eurekan or Half Eurekan, a competitor must complete all three events in the allotted time
- All Eurekan and Half Eurekan competitors are Required to have a current USA Triathlon license or purchase a one event or annual USAT license in order to compete
- USAT License Info: Adult - $15 one event or $50 annual. Youth (17 and under) - $15 annual. There is not a one-event license option for youth.
- When registering for The Eurekan or Half Eurekan, if competitors are NOT USAT Triathlon annual license holders you will automatically be charged for either the one event or annual license fee depending on which one you choose.
- A competitor can apply the one event license fee to an annual membership later in the year with USAT.
- Only one-day licenses may be purchased at packet pick-up.
- All events are held Rain or Shine
Both Eurekan categories are USA Triathlon sanctioned and all USA Triathlon Rules and Regulations will be observed

TIME LIMIT:
- The Eurekan times per event: Triathlon - 1.5 hours, 102 Mile Bike - 9.5 hours from the actual start time, 10K Run - 1.5 hours
- Half Eurekan times per event: Triathlon - 1.5 hours, 64 Mile Bike - 6.5 hours from the actual start time, 5K Run - 1 hour
MINIMUM AGE: Calculated as of Dec 31
- 16 year of age - NO EXCEPTIONS

RACE-DAY BASICS WORKSHOP
Thursday at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks (Convention Center) from 6 - 7 pm. There will be experienced triathletes to discuss race-day prep, nutrition, key do's and don'ts. Race officials will be available to discuss race rules. Come with your questions!
TRANSITION AND STAGING AREA DIRECTIONS
FRIDAY - Triathlon is held at Holiday Island. Parking is in the grass at the Holiday Island Recreation Center - 13 Buckskin Lane, Eureka Springs, AR 72631.

SATURDAY - IMPORTANT Information for Transportation and Safety
- UPDATED 7/6/2021 - Bike Rides start at Eureka Springs Middle School, which is located at 142 Greenwood Hollow Rd, Eureka Springs, AR 72632.
- The Eureka Springs Middle School is 0.7 miles south from the Hwy 23 / Hwy 62 intersections (this intersection is located next to Land O Nod motel, which is not the staging area).
- Parking is located adjacent to the Middle School at the ES High School, 2 Lake Lucerne Rd, Eureka Springs, AR 72632. Follow signage and volunteers
- 7:00 am - 102 mile start
- 7:15 am - 64 mile start
SUNDAY - Runs start in front of the Eureka Springs Courthouse on Main St.
- 7:30 am - 5K start
- 7:45 am - 10K start
