If you would like to run in memory of Star Corey, you will select his team when registering and your team neck gaiter color is YELLOW. Here's Corey's story:

In 2004, Corey, a freshman a Marysville High School was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. He was a fun and loving person who had a positive attitude and always wore a smile on his face. Corey loved sports. Football, basketball, and baseball were among his favorites. Baseball, though, was his passion. He was determined to beat his cancer so he could get back on the diamond. Unfortunately, on September 19, 2005, he lost his courageous 10-month battle with cancer.

On behalf of Corey and all the Kids fighting cancer or who lost to cancer, your participation in the 5K for his team with Blackburn Chasing the Cure helps to keep all their stories alive, raise the level of awareness for Childhood Cancer, and fund needs of patients and families running the race of their lives.
