Question:  Perpetual Motion charges for Pacers?!? Does any other race company do that?

Answer:  YES. While it's a relatively new thing, having pacers register online, and charging for pacers is quickly becoming a standard in the Texas Ultra scene. The benefit to the race company is clear: 

• We have the waivers in electronic format, so we don't need to store paper.

• We can better estimate how much food and drinks to buy and our volunteers don't need to police who eats at the Aid Stations,

• We can easily run a report for the park to show them how much we owe them in park entrance fees.

• We can build our email lists to grow our company.

But how does it benefit the runner and the pacer?

• We have the waivers in electronic format, so we can more easily find emergency contact information!

•  Pacers don't have to worry about carrying their own food and drinks!

• We can reduce the lines getting into the park, and offer a lower negotiated park entrance fee to the pacers (not just the runners)!

• We can let pacers know about runs and events that might interest them!
