Description
The Mountain Goat Run is a 10 Mile Syracuse tradition, open to participants of all ages. We have been conquering the hills of Syracuse for 45 years - bringing our community together each year.
Race Day Schedule: Sunday, May 5, 2024
8:50 a.m.: Kid's Half Mile Timed Fun Run,
9:15 a.m.: 10 Mile Mountain Goat Run, Two-Person Relay
10:30 a.m.: Post Race Party
11 am: Awards presentation of top 3 male and female runners. For alcohol consumption, please bring picture license identification for age validation.
Packet Pick Up and In-Person Registration (ON-LINE only! No paper or cash accepted) will be held at Fleet Feet Sports, 5800 Bridge Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057 on Saturday, May 4: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Race Day Packet Pick Up & Registration (ON-LINE only, CREDIT CARD only), 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in Clinton Square.
ALL premium items will be available ONLY through Race Day; NO EXCEPTIONS.
ALL awards MUST be picked up on Race Day ONLY at Awards Tent (no awards available AFTER 1pm).
Time Bonus Ribbons for the 10-mile race awarded to women running sub-90, sub-80, or sub-70 minutes and to men running sub-80, sub-70 and sub-60 minutes.

Syracuse is the hub of Upstate New York and offers plenty of options for the entire family.
Armory Square, Hanover Square and Little Italy are all within 1/2 mile of the finish line of the Mountain Goat and offer great shopping, dining and entertainment venues. Also downtown, don't miss opportunities to visit The Museum of Science and Technology (The MOST), The Everson Museum of Art, The Erie Canal Museum and the historic Landmark Theater which features cinema, music, theater and art.
If you love the outdoors, no trip to Syracuse is complete without a visit to Green Lakes State Park which features two glacial lakes, miles of trails, a beach and a golf course. Other great spots include Highland Forest, Beaver Lake Nature Center and Onondaga Lake Park.
There is plenty to see and do in Syracuse, so come and enjoy race weekend!
