Upstate Orthopedics is located at the Upstate Bone & Joint Center on Fly Road in East Syracuse and Township 5 in Camillus – offering EVERYTHING ORTHOPEDIC under one roof.

Each year, the Mountain Goat Racing Committee singles out a few key individuals who have made a lasting impact on the Mountain Goat Run.

10 Mile: The first 200 registrants get in for our lowest price of $55.
After that, the next 200 registrants get in for $60.
The next 200 registrants get in for $65, etc.
In honor of our 46th running of the event, every 46th registrant of our 10 Mile event will get a special $46 registration price!
Two Person Relay: First 25 registrants get in for our lowest price of $55.
After that, the next 50 registrants get in for $60.
After that, the next 75 registrants get in for $65, etc.
Price increases as more and more people register! No processing fees on opening day!

Overall and Masters awards will be based on gun time.
Age group awards will be based on chip/net time.
Time Bonus Ribbons and Certificates awarded to women running sub-90, sub-80, or sub-70 minutes and to men running sub-80, sub-70 and sub-60 minutes in 10 mile race only.

Packet Pick Up and In-Person Registration (ON-LINE only! No paper or cash accepted) will be held at Fleet Feet Sports, 5800 Bridge Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
Saturday, May 4: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Race Day Packet Pick Up & Registration (ON-LINE only! No paper or cash accepted), 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in Clinton Square.
ALL premium items will be available ONLY through Race Day; NO EXCEPTIONS.
Participants must take the size that they indicated during registration. You may exchange your size after the race starts.
As a part of an early morning fitness class at the downtown YMCA a small group of people added a jog around a few of Syracuse’s city blocks. As their fitness improved, distance was added along with four city parks covering all the highest points in Syracuse. The two highest points are the water reservoirs in Woodland and Thornden Parks. Special t-shirts proclaimed the group, “Mountain Goats”.

Volunteer Earth Day Cleanup
Each year, the Mountain Goat Run pays tribute and honor to outstanding individuals who participated or enhanced the success of the oldest and most historic footrace in Syracuse.

We understand that COVID-19 has turned your world upside down as it has ours. We want to provide our runners a way to reduce your risk yet still make plans to participate in our event. We are planning for our event on May 5, 2024, but by now we have learned that plans need to be flexible. We also realize and understand that you may be hesitant to register early. Our "Runner Protection Program"; spells out our race refund policy to help you during the registration decision process.

During your tour of downtown Syracuse and our parks (Woodland Reservoir, Lincoln Park, Burnet Park, Thornden Park) you may notice some photographers taking your picture!
High-res photos will be available for purchase by Pat Hendrick Photography. Look for the link after the race.
Make sure that your bib is clearly visible during the race so we can get all your pictures to you!
