Hospitality and registration set up and clean up

Gear Check

Details

Before the race: Collect participants' personal items, bag and label with bib number.

During the race: Keep participant belongings secure.

After the race: Return items to racers. Participants must present their race bib to collect their belongings at the end of the race.

Course Setup and Teardown

November 6, 2022

Details

Before the race: Partner with Junction 311 to set up water stop tables, coolers and directional signs.

During the race: Help along the course where needed. May act as a course monitor, water stop aide or answer questions.

After the race: Travel with the course manager by truck to pick up directional signs, cones and water stop tables and coolers.

Help take down tents, tables, race day items and equipment and help load them onto a truck. This may include some heavy lifting.

Start/Finish Line Setup and Teardown

Details

Before the race: Help set up start line.

During race lineup: At the Start line, help runners & walkers find their appropriate pace group.

During the race: Sheer on racers and prep finish line

At the Finish line: Hand out bottled water to each finisher and also keep the area just over the finish line clear of runners and spectators.

After the race: Help clean up start/finish line area
