Team FAQ
Is this year's race virtual or in-person?
This year's race will take place IN PERSON at one of Cone Health's newest facilities, MedCenter for Women, located at 930 Third St., Greensboro, NC 27405. This MedCenter is the home of Cone Health's participation in the North Carolina Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program which provides free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings and follow up services to women in our region. Our Mammography Scholarship Fund plays a big role in this program, as does the Alight Program.
How do I register?
Just visit our homepage and click on the event that best fits your description and follow the prompts. If you have trouble with your registration, please reach out to info@junction311.com and someone can help you.
Not sure which event will fit you best? Visit our Registration Event Descriptions page for details on each event category.
Can I register multiple people?
Yes! You can click on “Add Another Registrant” on the first page of registration OR at the end of your registration.
Who can participate?
Women, or those self-identifying as women, can participate in our Runner/Walker, Survivor and Girls Only mini-race registrations. Any gender can participate in the Pink Ribbon Partner 1-Mile Fun Run. More information on who can participate can be found on our Registration Event Descriptions page.
I don't run or walk. Will there still be opportunities for me?
We are always in need of volunteers before, during and after the race. Please visit our Volunteer Page to sign up for the jobs that fit your interests. We will also send emails to our volunteer list and post needs on social media as they arise. And don't forget, you can just come to support and cheer on our racers!
My company is normally a vendor at the race. What can I do to continue our participation?
We hope that organizations in the Triad will consider taking on a sponsorship role in this year's race. There are opportunities for exposure through logo placement, emails and chances to provide prizes for the race. Please contact WO5KSponsorships@conehealth.com for more details. If you feel you cannot be a sponsor, there may be opportunities to purchase exhibitor space. As we continue our planning, we will update this information accordingly.
Can I earn participation points in the Omega Sports Race Series?
Yes! Your 5K will count as a qualifying race for the series. All finishers will earn at least 10 participation points with additional points for finishing in the top 10 of your age group.
