Fall registration opens April 1st

SEVERAL TRAINING PROGRAMS TO CHOOSE FROM
  • You Can Do 26.2 Full Marathon Training Program – focused on runners who are ready to take on the Marathon and have completed a Half Marathon within the last year. (Fall Program Only)
  • Let’s Run 13.1 Half Marathon Training Program – focused on runners wanting to complete their first or fastest Half Marathon.
  • Intervals Half Marathon Training Program – for runners who use a run/walk interval method.
  • Take on the 10K– for runners who have completed a 5K and are ready to take on the 10K.

Fall 10K, Half & Full Marathon Training Program
  • Focused on preparing for the San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll
  • 16-week training program starts in August.
  • Optional base builder program begins in July.
  • Weekly group runs every Saturday morning and Tuesday evening. 
  • RRCA Certified Coaches and experienced pace leaders and mentors.
  • Includes Team Tech-Shirt.
  • Different pace groups to support all levels of runners, including run/walkers.
  • Flexible weekly workout schedule.
  • Tips and techniques to improve your running.

Winter 10K and Half Marathon Training Program
  • Focused on preparing for Winter / early-Spring  races
  • 8-10 week training program begins in January
  • Weekly group runs every Saturday morning and Tuesday evening. 
  • RRCA Certified Coaches and experienced pace leaders and mentors.
  • Includes Team Tech-Shirt.
  • Different pace groups to support all levels of runners, including run/walkers.
  • Flexible weekly workout schedule.

Why Train with SARR?
  • We are experienced. Biggest training program in the city led by RRCA-certified coaches. 2000+ runners trained in the last 10 years.
  • We run all over town. We train at different locations so you can experience the many great running spots the city has to offer.

  • We help runners become racers. We have different training levels to fit your goals.
  • We are a non-profit organization and our mission is Improving Lives Through Running. We keep our registration fees low so more people can participate.
Volunteer
Volunteer to help in a Training program - We have a variety of volunteer positions including Coaching, Water & Signs Team, Pace Leaders, Social Director and many other roles. Volunteers get to participate in that training program for FREE.   Click HERE to volunteer!
