My name is Karina! I support the Race Against Gun Violence because every child should have the opportunity to grow up and achieve their dreams. Seeing the impact of gun violence first hand by losing a classmate in 7th grade heavily impacted my view of the world. I run for Adrian and the many other youth who never got to see 8th grade graduation, attend high school prom, get married, have children, and reach their milestones. 

One reason I'm running to support Centro Sanar is to continue their important work of supporting families through grief and loss - the pain which is unimaginable and I cannot fathom of understanding. Centro Sanar provides grief circles for family members, individual and group therapy. These resources are so needed. Please help me support their work!
