The San Antonio RoadRunners (SARR) mission - Improving Lives through Running.
Since 1973 SARR has served the running community and now is a great time to join our club and make it your club. We offer training programs, races, free meet-ups, fun runs, and community outreach. With 1200+ members, we are growing and we're excited to have you join us! SARR is a member organization of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA).
Our training teams have A Place For Every Pace℠ and welcome all runners: beginner to advanced. Programs include Walk to Run 5K , Pick Up the Pace , and 10K/Half/Full Marathon training. We also have a Kids Run SARR training program and an Off-RoadRunners / Trail Running training program. Something for everyone!
Come run with us at our Meetups & Monthly Fun Runs - they are free and open to everyone!
Run with a group for safety and fun.
Our races are open to the public but members get discounts. Our training programs are for SARR members.

2) 2020 Summer & Fall races will be virtual
3) Mission Race, May the 4th & Carrabba's are rescheduled to 2021
We truly appreciate your support and will communicate additional info as available. <updated Oct 11, 2020>
Our Commitment to Inclusion
The San Antonio RoadRunners was founded on the principle that anyone can be a runner. After 50 years, that principle is still our cornerstone. We strive to be a fully inclusive, anti-racist, multicultural organization. We promote participation and membership in our club without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, physical abilities, or age. SARR does not condone or tolerate discrimination in any form.
But, as evidenced by recent national events, there is more that needs to be done to help bring all parts of society together. We want to hear from you, our members, on ways we could further promote inclusion and diversity in the club. If we have fallen short in some areas, we want to hear about it. If you have ideas on how to reach runners we may be missing, we want to hear about it. This is your club and together we want to ensure that SARR reflects the entire local running community.
If you have ideas or comments you want to share, please send to Ginger at firstname.lastname@example.org.
With the City easing restrictions on the number of people that can gather in city parks, we will offer a scaled down version of the free Wednesday Night Zoo Run during the month of October.

-Stay home if ill. We love and miss you, but don't want to get sick!
